Bezzecchi wins at Mandalika as Martin retakes MotoGP lead
Jorge Martin’s third-place finish put him two points ahead of Marc Marquez, while race winner Marco Bezzecchi remained third in the championship.

Marco Bezzecchi won the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia at Mandalika on 11 October 2026, while Jorge Martin finished third to move back into first place in the MotoGP championship standings.
Starting second, Bezzecchi held off challenges from rivals including Marc Marquez before pursuing early leader Raul Fernandez. He overtook Fernandez on lap 19 and stayed ahead to take victory. Fernandez finished second, with Martin completing the podium.
The win earned Bezzecchi 25 points, bringing his championship tally to 309 and leaving him third overall. Martin added 16 points to reach 355, giving him a two-point advantage over Marquez, who finished sixth at Mandalika and has 353 points.
Ai Ogura placed fourth in the race and also holds fourth in the championship on 259 points. Pedro Acosta finished fifth and is one point behind Ogura on 258. Fabio Di Giannantonio is sixth overall with 245 points, followed by Fernandez on 236, Alex Marquez on 172, Francesco Bagnaia on 166 and Fermin Aldeguer on 125.
The race took place with the air temperature at 30 degrees Celsius and the track temperature exceeding 60 degrees Celsius.
